Municipal Clerk Profile 

As the chief advisor to the municipal executive ( executive board), the municipal secretary participates in the meetings of the mayor and aldermen. He ensures the successful implementation of policy and encourages innovation. In doing so, he serves as the link between what the administration wants and what the civil service can achieve. As chief executive, the municipal secretary bears ultimate responsibility for the civil service.
