Eric Krijgsman Named New City Clerk of Voorschoten

Eric Krijgsman began his duties today as town clerk in Voorschoten. On June 26, the Voorschoten Town Council ( municipal council ) decided to appoint him effective September 1.

Eric Krijgsman

Mr. Krijgsman previously worked for the Province of North Holland as deputy clerk and is very familiar with the clerk’s profession. In addition, he served as a council member in Leiden for over seven years, which has given him a thorough understanding of regional collaborations. In his new role as clerk, Mr. Krijgsman will be able to apply this experience to benefit Voorschoten. The council is confident that he will continue to professionalize the municipal administration ( Municipal Clerk’s Office ) and thereby strengthen the position of the municipality of Voorschoten ( municipal council).

Eric Krijgsman succeeds Bert Jan Urban, who has become the town clerk in the municipality of Voorst in Gelderland.
