Leidseweg Survey

The municipality of Voorschoten has reviewed the blue parking zones at various locations. This review has shown that the blue zone on Leidseweg (the section from the roundabout to the snack bar) may no longer be necessary.

After all, with the construction of the AH supermarket and the parking garage beneath it, sufficient blue-zone parking spaces have been created in the area. This is the result of a parking survey conducted throughout Voorschoten. We may therefore be able to eliminate the blue zone, while retaining the parking spaces.

On April 6, 2023, we sent a short survey to about 50 households in this area. The question we asked was:

Survey Results 

The results of the survey are now available.
We contacted 50 residents and businesses; 20 of them responded.

Delete: 70%
Shorten: 0%
Leave as is: 30%

Based on your vote, we have decided to eliminate the blue zone (as shown on the map). We will publish a traffic regulation to this effect shortly.
