Changing a street name

Over time, street names sometimes evoke mixed feelings. Our perspective on history changes, and with it, our view of historical figures. As a result, you may feel that a street name is no longer appropriate. You can submit a request to change a street name if it refers to controversial individuals.

Please note! Changing a street name is very costly. Are you submitting a request to change a street name? If so, the municipality of Voorschoten will first investigate whether, for example, an explanatory text can be added to the street sign.
