General Information

On May 4, we commemorate the liberation of the Netherlands throughout the country, thanks to the efforts of Allied soldiers and the help of the resistance. Mayor Stemerdink, together with two students from the Fortgens School, will lay a wreath at the war memorial and deliver a speech. Veterans from Voorschoten will form a guard of honor, and members of Voorschoten’s Scouting groups will assist with the wreath-laying ceremony.
