Students at the British School will watch Arend Dubbelboer’s impressive documentary about the young British soldier William Ward. Ward was shot down over the IJsselmeer during a mission. Years later, the wreckage of his plane was recovered, and the propeller was incorporated into the war memorial in Dronten. Through thorough research, it was eventually possible to determine which high school he had attended at the time. Arend Dubbelboer will provide an introduction to the documentary and delve deeper into the story of William Ward.
