Digital Information Displays

There are five digital information signs in the municipality of Voorschoten. We use them to notify residents about things like roadwork and events. Clubs and organizations can also have messages posted, such as for a concert or an open house.

Would you like to have a text posted? Please keep the following in mind:

  • The municipality can only process requests that are submitted using a completed form;
  • Please submit your application at least two weeks in advance;
  • Your post will be visible for up to one week;
  • Limit your text to three lines of no more than sixteen characters each (including punctuation).

Terms and Conditions

The Municipality of Voorschoten is responsible for posting content and managing the software. The following terms and conditions apply:

  • The event is open to the public and is primarily intended for residents of Voorschoten;
  • This activity defines Voorschoten; bingo nights and discos, for example, do not;
  • The activity takes place within the municipality of Voorschoten;
  • Any association or organization in the municipality of Voorschoten can submit text;
  • The information signs are not intended for use in connection with courses, door-to-door sales, or commercial purposes;
  • Religious activities are listed only if they are interdenominational in nature;
  • Announcing fundraisers is permitted only for charitable causes;
  • Municipal announcements, such as emergency alerts and road closures, always take priority;
  • If there is no event, the municipality displays an alternative message such as “Welcome to Voorschoten”;
  • Announcements are posted for up to one week; the duration depends on the number of requests;
  • The Municipal Executive reserves the right to reject a text; no correspondence will be entered into regarding this matter;
  • The administrator determines the final text and the time of publication.
