Digital Information Displays

There are five digital information displays in the municipality of Voorschoten. We use them to inform residents about, for example, roadworks and local events. Clubs and organizations can also have messages posted, such as announcements for a concert or an open house.

Would you like to have text displayed? Please keep the following in mind:

  • the municipality can only process requests submitted via a completed form;
  • please submit your application at least two weeks in advance;
  • your message will be visible for a maximum of one week;
  • limit your text to three lines of a maximum of sixteen characters each (including punctuation).

Requirements

The Municipality of Voorschoten is responsible for posting content and managing the software. The following terms and conditions apply: Requirements:

  • the activity is publicly accessible and primarily intended for residents of Voorschoten;
  • the activity defines the character of Voorschoten; bingo nights and discos, for example, do not meet this criterion;
  • the activity takes place within the municipality of Voorschoten;
  • every association and organization in the municipality of Voorschoten can submit texts;
  • the information boards are not intended for courses, door-to-door sales, or commercial purposes;
  • activities of a religious nature will only be posted if they have an interchurch character;
  • announcements of collection drives are only permitted for charitable collections;
  • municipal announcements such as emergencies and road closures always take priority;
  • if there is no event, the municipality will display alternative text such as 'Welcome to Voorschoten';
  • announcements will be displayed for a maximum of one week; the duration depends on the number of applications;
  • The B&W " executive board " reserves the right to reject a text; no correspondence will be entered into regarding this matter;
  • the administrator determines the final text and the timing of the posting.
