If your pet is missing, you can check with the animal shelter and visit the national website of the Dutch Animal Protection Association (www.amivedi.nl ) at . 

How does it work?

To prevent your pet from going missing permanently, it’s a good idea to have a veterinarian implant a microchip in your pet. Also, don’t forget to update the registration information for a microchipped pet if you move.

What should I do?

  1. Have your pet microchipped to prevent it from getting lost.
  2. Check with the animal shelter.
  3. Check the national Amivediwebsite for missing pets
