Share your ideas about the Voorschoten skatepark
The skatepark on Sint Nicolaespad will be renovated next year. Before the final design is finalized, skaters, young people, and local residents will have the opportunity to share their ideas about the skatepark’s layout. That is why the municipality of Voorschoten is organizing a community engagement afternoon on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
During the meeting, three parties will present a design for the renovated skatepark. Visitors can view the designs, ask questions, and vote for their favorite design. The design that receives the most votes will be developed further.
The municipality believes it is important for children and young people to be able to play, participate in sports, and socialize safely. That is why we are involving users, local residents, and other interested parties in the renovation of the skatepark.
The skatepark will be redesigned to meet the needs of its users and the “ neighbourhood,” ensuring it will last for many years to come.

Everyone is welcome on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the skatepark on Sint Nicolaespad.
