Just a few more hours to go, and 2023 will be over. The municipality of Voorschoten wishes you a peaceful New Year’s Eve. “Make it a warm, cozy evening,” says Mayor Nadine Stemerdink. “Be there for one another, and please be careful with fireworks later on.”
New Year’s Eve means oliebollen and apple turnovers, spending time together, the New Year’s Eve comedy show, and colorful fireworks. Mayor Stemerdink: “What have you experienced this year? Who are you thinking of in particular during these hours? What are your plans for 2024? Let’s look back and look ahead together in a cheerful and peaceful way, so that the emergency services and the municipality’s field staff can also enjoy a pleasant New Year’s Eve. After all, they’re there for us day and night. On behalf of the municipal council, I wish all our residents a joyful New Year’s Eve.”
