Coalition Agreement on June 18 in municipal council
During the extraordinary council meeting on June 18, PRO, VVD, and D66 will present the final coalition agreement for the municipality of Voorschoten. The prospective Aldermen will also be appointed during this same meeting.
The coalition agreement 'Making choices together for a better Voorschoten' outlines the ambitions of the forming parties for a safe, social, and green Voorschoten, the construction of affordable housing, educational housing, good facilities, a favorable business climate, and providing opportunities for all residents of Voorschoten.
Allocation of portfolios
The parties forming the coalition are nominating Rachèl van Hellemondt (PRO) as “ Alderman ” with responsibility for “ social domain,” Public Health, Spatial Planning, and Sports. Pieter Varekamp (VVD) is the proposed “ Alderman ” for Finance, Waste Management, Municipal Real Estate, and Regional Affairs. Esther Mieremet (D66) is being nominated as “ Alderman ” for Economy, Energy, and Sustainability, as well as Education and Culture.
