Fire safety, reporting, or licence

Certain buildings (such as a daycare centre, café, or hotel) require an environmental licence for fire-safe use (formerly the 'use licence'). The municipality will then set additional requirements for the fire safety of a building if necessary. These requirements prevent fires, fire hazards, and accidents in the event of a fire.
