Tree-Planting Event in Burgemeester Berkhout Park
In the week of Monday, April 3, 28 unique trees will be planted in Burgemeester Berkhout Park. These are different varieties from the trees already in the park. The work will be carried out by Zoontjes Boomprojecten on behalf of the municipality of Voorschoten. Work will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is expected to be completed by the end of Thursday, April 6. Bad weather may cause the work to be delayed.
Accessibility
Berkhoutpark will remain open to visitors during the construction work. Trees and soil will be stored on Prins Bernardlaan and Oude Adegeesterlaan. Some parking spaces on Prins Bernardlaan will be unavailable due to this storage. Both streets will remain open to traffic. The parking spaces that are unavailable will be marked with no-parking signs.
Nuisance
During the work, you may experience some noise and traffic disruptions due to the machinery, loose branches, and a few closed parking spaces. The municipality has made arrangements with the contractor to keep these disruptions to a minimum.
