Tree Removal on Oranjeboomstraat and Raadhuislaan
Trees will be cut down on Oranjeboomstraat and Raadhuislaan on Monday, January 20, and Tuesday, January 21. The work will be carried out by the Buitenhuis company on behalf of the municipality of Voorschoten. In January 2025, the sewer system on Oranjeboomstraat and Raadhuislaan will be renovated. Due to this renovation, it will be necessary to cut down a few trees. In due course, new trees will be planted on Oranjeboomstraat and Raadhuislaan to compensate for the trees that were cut down.
The work will be carried out from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is expected to be completed by the end of the day. Bad weather may cause the work to run late.
Accessibility
During the work on Monday, January 20, Oranjeboomstraat will be completely closed to all traffic. Traffic will be rerouted using traffic signs. Raadhuislaan will remain partially accessible on Tuesday, January 21. Traffic controllers will direct traffic on Raadhuislaan during the work.
Nuisance
During the construction work, you may experience some noise and traffic disruptions due to the machinery and limited access. The municipality has made arrangements with the contractor to minimize these disruptions as much as possible.
