Taxes, tax assessments

Every year, the Gouwe-Rijnland Tax Cooperation (abbreviation: BSGR) sends out the tax assessment notices for local taxes. These include, for example, the waste collection fee, property tax (OZB), and sewer and water services fees. The assessment notice lists the amounts for the various types of taxes.

On behalf of the municipality of Voorschoten, the BSGR is responsible for assessing and collecting the following taxes:

• Waste Collection Fee
• Dobbewijk Business Investment Zone (BIZ)
• Property Taxes
• Property Tax
• Advertising Tax
• Sewer and Water Services Fee
• Tourist Tax

The BSGR also determines the WOZ value of real property, such as homes, businesses, offices, and retail properties, in Voorschoten.

Debt Forgiveness

Are you unable to pay your municipal taxes, even with a payment plan? If so, you can apply for a waiver. Whether you are eligible depends on your financial situation.
