Renting or buying a business premises/industrial estate

The municipality owns commercial properties and business parks within the municipality. Sometimes you can rent or buy a commercial property or business park from the municipality. 

How does it work?

The municipality may require you to comply with certain Requirements . Which Requirements these are depends on the zoning plan for the commercial property or industrial park. Examples include:

  • To what extent do your business activities cause environmental impact?
  • If you wish to build on the business park: does this correspond proportionally to the size of the site?
  • Does your company generate additional employment?

What to do?

  • Please contact the municipality.
  • State your intentions regarding the building or the site.
  • Sometimes the municipality may require a business plan from you.
