Rent or Buy Commercial Property or an Industrial Park

The municipality owns commercial properties and business parks within its jurisdiction. In some cases, you can rent or purchase a commercial property or business park from the municipality. 

How does it work?

The municipality may require you to comply with certain conditions. These conditions depend on the zoning plan for the commercial property or business park. Examples include:

  • To what extent do your business operations have an environmental impact?
  • If you want to build on the industrial park: Is this proportionate to the size of the site?
  • Does your company create additional jobs?

What should I do?

  • Please contact the municipality.
  • Please indicate what you plan to do with the building or the property.
  • Sometimes the municipality will ask you to submit a business plan.
