Paving Work on Horstlaan, October 6–14 (Update)
From Monday, October 6, through Tuesday, October 14, asphalt work will be taking place on Horstlaan between the intersection with Veurseweg and the railroad tunnel. The work is being carried out by Van der Steen on behalf of the municipality of Voorschoten. Horstlaan will remain open on weekends.
The work will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Bad weather may cause the work to run late.
Update
The work was scheduled to last through Friday, October 10. However, the asphalt needs more time to dry. For this reason, Horstlaan will also be closed on Monday, October 13, and Tuesday, October 14. Horstlaan will be open during the weekend in between.
Accessibility
Horstlaan will be closed during the construction work. Cyclists will be rerouted via clear traffic signs. Local traffic can pass the construction site with some disruption, except on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On those days, please follow the instructions of the traffic controllers.
Nuisance
You may experience some noise during the construction work. The municipality is working with the contractors to minimize the disturbance as much as possible.
