Electronic key
If you live in a house without a yard in Voorschoten, you’ll use an electronic key to access the underground containers in your neighborhood at neighbourhood.
What to do?
Trash in an underground container
Using an electronic key, you can dispose of your general waste in an underground general waste container. You may dispose of general waste in an underground container up to 5 times a day. You can also use the electronic key to dispose of your food scraps, vegetables, fruit, and yard waste in the organic waste container.
- Keep the electronic key for the container.
- The container opens.
- Put your trash bag in the trash can.
Request an Electronic Key
If you have lost your electronic key, you can request a new one. This costs 10 euros. The old electronic key will no longer work.
Moving
The electronic key is linked to your address. If you move, you must transfer the electronic key to the new residents at your address.
