Eight Residents of Voorschoten Granted Citizenship
On Wednesday, June 8, eight people were naturalized as Dutch citizens in Voorschoten. Mayor Nadine Stemerdink announced this in the presence of family and friends. They may now officially call themselves Dutch citizens. During the ceremony, the candidates took an oath of allegiance, promising to respect the rights and obligations that come with Dutch citizenship. The ceremony concluded with a friendly get-together over a cup of coffee.
