Adjustments to Customer Contact Center Services Due to the Coronavirus

Due to the lockdown, starting Monday, December 21, 2020, we will only be handling urgent appointments at the civil affairs counters at City Hall. This includes, for example, birth and death registrations. If your appointment is canceled, we will contact you to reschedule it. Products and services that can be handled digitally will be processed exclusively online. Evening hours and the two afternoon sessions will be canceled.

For what services can you still visit City Hall, but only by appointment?

You can come to us for all the products you need that cannot be arranged online, such as:

Birth Registration
Reporting a Death
Recognition of an (Un)born Child
Overseas Branch
Issuing a BSN number

You can only apply for or pick up a passport, driver's license, or ID if you can demonstrate that it is necessary. For example, if you have a valid ticket for travel or if you do not have any other valid form of identification.
