Gedenkpark Rosenburgh
Rosenburgh Memorial Park is located on Rosenburgherlaan in Voorschoten and has been in use since 1963. The cemetery features a general section, a Roman Catholic section, and an Islamic section. In both the general and Roman Catholic sections, burials are available in a general grave or a grave with exclusive rights. Additionally, Rosenburgh offers urn graves, children's graves, and a scattering field for ashes.
Remembrance tree
On Tuesday, April 12, 2022, Alderman Spil unveiled a memorial tree at the ash scattering field. Memorial leaves can be hung on the tree, which is made of Corten steel. The leaves bear the name of the deceased, as well as their date of birth and date of death.
The commemorative leaves are for any deceased person you wish to remember. The deceased does not need to be buried at Rosenburgh for this.
The leaves can be ordered via an application form. To do so, please send an email to rosenburgh@voorschoten.NL. The costs are €120 (in accordance with the 2023 Tariff Table). This amount includes engraving and placement. The leaves will remain in the tree for 10 years.
