VS-1136-2 Notification or licence : Use of public land near high-voltage power lines with eHerkenning

Important Information

The municipality has issued the “ authorisation ” to specify that you may not place certain items or objects near a high-voltage power line. This regulation specifies a distance within which no items or objects may be placed. If you still wish to place an item there, you will need a “ licence ” permit or you must file a report.

Notification or licence?

licenceYou must apply for a “ licence ” if your usage is considered high. High usage is defined as:

  • For a surface area of 16m2 or larger.
  • For a width of 2.50m or more.

Costs:

The fees for the “ licence ” can be found in the fee ordinance. In addition, you must also pay a precario tax; see the precario tax ordinance.

Notification

For minor use, simply filing a report is sufficient.

  • For an area of up to 15m2.
  • For a width of less than 2.50m.

Costs:

You are required to pay a public space tax; see the Public Space Tax Ordinance.

Good to know:

  • The object must not be taller than 2, metre.
  • Check the zoning plan to see if you are allowed to place objects within the high-voltage power line “ neighbourhood .” You can find and view all zoning plans on Ruimtelijkeplannen.nl.
To ensure better and faster service, the municipality requests, at a minimum:
  • Where you intend to place the object.
  • How large the object is.
  • Why you wish to place it.
  • When you want to place the object and for how long.
  • A site plan.
