Important Information

You can find the rules regarding closing hours ( opening hours ) within the municipality in the municipality’s General Local Ordinance. For example, if you’d like to keep your restaurant or bar (or other business) open longer than permitted for an annual fair or anniversary celebration, you should apply to the municipality for an exemption from the closing hour requirement.

To ensure better and faster processing, the municipality requires at least the following:
  • Your name and your supervisor's name.
  • Name and location of your restaurant or bar.
  • Why you want to stay open longer.
  • On which day(s) you would like to stay open longer.
  • What time do you want to stay open until?
