Important Information

For example, do you see an unsafe intersection or a poorly visible crossing within the municipality? You can report this.

Good to know:

  • To improve traffic safety within built-up areas, 30 km/h zones have been established. Speed bumps, chicanes, and narrow roadways are designed to slow down traffic. These are primarily located in residential areas, shopping streets, near schools, and other locations with high volumes of pedestrians, cyclists, and playing children.
  • In addition to 30 km/h zones, there are also 60 km/h zones. These areas are likewise designed to enhance traffic safety. 60 km/h zones are always located outside built-up areas, but frequently fall under municipal jurisdiction. These zones also feature speed bumps, chicanes, and narrow roadways to slow down traffic.
To ensure better and faster service, the municipality requests, at a minimum:
  • The precise location.
  • Reason for your report.
  • If possible, provide photos/sketches of the hazardous situation. Please have these ready digitally.
Note: Do you think the municipality should designate your street or neighborhood as a 30 km/h zone? If so, it’s best to submit a request to the municipality together with your neighbours .
