The municipality will assess your damages. If the municipality determines that it is liable, you may be reimbursed for the full amount of the damages or a portion thereof.

To provide a solid rationale, you will need:

• Overview photo and close-up photo of the damage.
• A well-detailed claim statement or estimate.
• For cars: inspection report from a certified repair shop.
• Description of the situation (if applicable).
• Police report (if applicable).
• Witness statement (if applicable).

Are you insured against the damage? If so, please report the damage to your insurer; they will contact the municipality to handle the matter further.
