Would you like to collect clothing for a charitable cause? If so, please coordinate this with the municipality. The Central Bureau for Fundraising (CBF) keeps track of which organizations collect clothing for charitable causes. Trustworthy organizations are awarded the CBF seal of approval. This lets donors know they can give with confidence. The municipality will check with the CBF to see if your organization has this seal of approval.

Good to know:

• Applications will be responded to by December 31 of the year to which they apply.
• The municipality issues a maximum of 9 permits per year, distributed evenly over the number of months in the year.

To ensure better and faster service, the municipality requests, at a minimum:

• Name and contact information of the applicant.
• Where and when the collection takes place.
• What is the purpose of the collection?
• Who the clothing is intended for.
