VS-1133-1 Non-commercial Alcohol License with DigiD

A license is required if you wish to serve alcohol. A non-commercial alcohol license is intended, for example, for a (sports) canteen, a Scouting group, or a community center.

Good to know:

• The form asks you to enter personal information, such as the dates of birth of managers and board members. 

You must meet the following requirements:

• Your employees are 16 years of age or older.
• Your bar staff member under the age of 18 may sell alcohol, but not drink it.
• All managers are at least 21 years old and hold either an SVH Certificate in Social Hygiene or a Certificate of Professional Competence. You can verify this in the Social Hygiene Registry.
• None of the executives has a criminal record.
• A supervisor must always be present at your business. This supervisor is also listed on your permit.

Additional Terms and Conditions for Associations and Foundations:

• The hours during which alcohol is served and the age limit are posted in a clearly visible location.
• There are at least two managers within the association or foundation who hold an SVH Certificate in Social Hygiene.
• Whenever alcohol is served, one of these supervisors is present.
• The house rules regarding alcohol consumption are set forth in the bylaws.

The municipality asks that you include the following attachments with your application:

• Include a site plan (scale 1:100) showing the floor plan of the facility and the terrace(s).
• The Board Bylaws;
• (If applicable) lease or purchase agreement;
• Social Statement on Hygiene.
