Good to know:

• To improve road safety in urban areas, 30 km/h zones have been established. Speed bumps, road narrowing, and narrow lanes are designed to slow down traffic. This mainly applies to residential areas, shopping districts, schools, and other places where there are many pedestrians, cyclists, and children.
  
  
• In addition to the 30 km/h zones, there are also 60 km/h zones. These zones are also established to improve road safety. 60 km/h zones are always located outside urban areas, but are often under the jurisdiction of the municipality. In 60 km/h zones, there are also speed bumps, road narrowings, and narrower lanes to slow down traffic.

The municipality kindly asks you to provide:

• The exact location.
• The reason for your report.
• If possible, please include photos and/or a site plan.

If you believe the municipality should designate your street or neighborhood as a 30 km/h zone, it is best to submit this request together with your neighbors.
