Taking off from and landing an aircraft (such as a helicopter) is prohibited at any location other than an airport. If you wish to do so, you must obtain an exemption from the province. With an exemption, you may use a location other than an airport to take off or land.
For security reasons, you cannot fly a drone everywhere. It is prohibited, for example, in areas around airports. You may fly in the unrestricted portion of the airspace. This area is not controlled by air traffic control. You can find the rules for flying a drone on the national government’s website.
