VS-1063-2 Application Form for an Exemption from Article 87 of the Road Traffic Regulations (RVV) for Businesses with eHerkenning

The pedestrian zone is off-limits to cyclists and motorized vehicles. Under certain circumstances, the municipality may grant an exception and issue you a (temporary) exemption. This is the case, for example, if you live in the area, are organizing an event, or need to carry out work there. The police, fire department, Municipal Health Service (GGD), and the municipality’s field staff have unrestricted access to the pedestrian zone.

To ensure better and faster service, the municipality requests, at a minimum:

• A site plan showing, among other things: the location of the site (include a photo if applicable), access routes to the site/facility, connections to other facilities and public areas, traffic control measures, detour routes, and signage in accordance with CROW standards.
• The area where you want to drive.
• Why you want to drive in the area.
• If you want to drive in the area.
• The license plate number of the vehicle you intend to use to enter the area.
