VS-1051-2 Holding the municipality liable with eAcknowledgement

The municipality will assess your damage. If the municipality considers itself liable, you may be reimbursed for the damage amount or a portion thereof.

For a proper substantiation, you will need:

• Overview photo and detailed photo of the damage.
• Well-specified damage invoice or estimate.
• For cars: expert report from an approved garage.
• Situation sketch (if applicable).
• Police report (if applicable).
• Witness statement (if applicable).

Are you insured against the damage? Please report the damage to your insurer, and they will contact the municipality for further handling.
