Important Information

You need a street vendor permit if you want to sell goods or food from a stall or cart, such as a fish stall or an ice cream cart. This permit allows you to set up your stall on or along a public road.

Fees: See the Fee Regulation.

Good to know:

  • A permanent stall permit is different from a market stall permit or a peddler’s permit. You need a market stall permit if you want a spot at a daily, weekly, or annual market. You need a peddler’s permit if you sell goods on the street or door-to-door. Peddling means that you sell your goods in a different location each time.
  • If the municipality does not own the land where you wish to have your stall, you must also obtain permission from the landowner.
To ensure that your application is processed more efficiently and quickly, the municipality requires the following at a minimum:
  • If you are submitting the application on behalf of a company, please have the company's information ready.
  • What goods or services you sell.
  • Please indicate where you would like the site to be located, along with a site plan. Please attach this as a file; please have the digital version ready.
  • On which day or part of the day you wish to use the location, and the date on which you would like the permit to take effect.
