VS-1015-2 Reporting Occasional Events at Hospitality Establishments or Permits Using eHerkenning

Important Information

A few times a year, you can organize an event, for example, for your restaurant or sports club. To do so, you must file a notice with the municipality.

Good to know:

  • You must submit the notification to the municipality two weeks in advance using this form.

Noise Standards

During an occasional celebration, the “party noise policy” applies. This means that until 1:00 a.m., the noise level at the facade of the nearest residence may not exceed 70 dB(A). After 1:00 a.m., the noise level may not exceed 45 dB(A). The use of sound equipment is not permitted after this time.

To ensure that your application is processed more efficiently and quickly, the municipality requires the following at a minimum:
  • Description of the activities.
  • Date and time.
  • Expected noise levels (type, time, and location).

Tip:

Prevent complaints by, for example, notifying your neighbors in advance of your plans to host a party (invite your neighbors).
