You need a street vending permit if you sell your products and/or services in public places. This includes, among other things, offering goods for sale on public roads or door-to-door sales. In addition, you must sell your products at different locations and not at a fixed location. You need a street vending permit ( authorisation ) from the municipality for this.

The following situations are not considered street vending:

• You are distributing written or printed material as part of the freedom of expression.
• You are a shopkeeper delivering goods to a buyer's home.
• You sell your goods from a fixed location or at a markt. In that case, you need a marketplace permit or a fixed-location permit.

To ensure that your application is processed more efficiently and quickly, the municipality requires the following at a minimum:

• What goods and/or services you want to sell.
• On which day(s) and during which period you would like to offer the services/products.
• If you are using a sales van, what are its dimensions?

If applicable, you will also be asked to include the following attachments:

1. Copy of an extract from the Chamber of Commerce.
